The electric inflators go for $15-20 now.
I've owned a few SUP for $100-$150 all were increÃble.
I used on Bay, inlets and beach with no problem. I do recommend the electric inflation pump because it will wear you out to hand pump these in the heat.
Paying $300 is not slick at all. For that get a real board not inflatable.
The more expensive boards are made with multiple layers and stitch in a way that makes them much stronger and more durable.

I lost the oar on my last one when going overboard so just a word of advice you may want to get an inflatable attachment to your oar.
The replacement cost of the oar was almost 50% of just buying a brand new stand-up paddleboard at this price so that's what did. And now I have an extra paddle board - an oar
I'll also mention: I paid another ~$55 for a car-adapter-compatible inflation thing. This is ABSOLUTELY worth buying. These high-capacity bike-pump style pumps do inflate the board, but dear sweet god it is backbreaking and takes a LONG time. I think mine was supposed to get to ~14 PSI, but it took me forever to get it to ~11.

1) The average iSUP generally lasts about 4-5yrs with good care and storage. So congrats on going beyond that with an entry level board. It goes to show how iSUP technology has improved over the years.
2) If you're leaking air from the valve, the first thing you should try doing is using the valve tool that they include in the orange repair tube to try and tighten the valve a quarter turn.
3) Never inflate your iSUP to 15psi. Althought many manufacturers mention a 15psi max, that does not mean you should inflate to that level. You only need 14-15psi if you're paddling in alot of chop or surfing/downwind. General usage should fall in the 12-13psi range. Anything over that is putting under stress on a board, especially if you live in a hot climate where oxygen expands.

If you want stability, you want to go wider and potentially longer, depending on your height and weight.
