Way too many deals on stuff I don't need but are so cheap I'm trying to justify buying them.

I'm shocked this design is still around. I think my dad got his from HIS dad. Early 60s, maybe?

A lot cooler with a modern LED, though.

I had these. Eventually the soft cheap metal compressing on the ball joints will give, bend and no amount of tightening will fix it. You'll fight with the product and wish you had magnetic cordless lights.

you'll need to charge cordless lights. I have these everywhere. At least 1 in my business. Come in handy when I need to turn off a breaker to fix stuff. It can also plug in 110v back up battery during black out. There are several of these daisy chained together in my attic. Never have to craw up there in darkness with only a forehead light. There is one in my garage always plugged in with motion detect flood light screwed in. I keep one in my pantry to use when grilling in my back yard. Sufficient lighting is key for cooking good steaks.

I did not read closely enough, these are only rated to 150w. IR bulbs are 250w. Bummer. They will be going back.
