Have a different model, same brand. Died in a few months with light use. Contacted them several times for warranty, but almost no response.

Don't bother with this. Just get a Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus (no wifi) and call it a day. Will serve you well for years.

Our dolphin going almost a decade. Also, how does one fish out cordless vacuum if it dies on bottom of pool ?

You swim in and pick it up. Water creates buoyancy.

My Dreame Z1 Pro has a remote and one of the buttons tells the robot to climb the wall for retrieval. Works perfectly for me...

I'll never buy another Wybot. Good customer service I guess; just be sure to use a credit card that gives an extra warranty.

My WYBOT Product Experience Timeline:
  • July 2024: Purchased the original WYBOT S2 unit.
  • November 2024: The first unit failed. It stopped taking a charge and would shut off after only a few seconds of operation. Customer support processed and shipped a replacement.
  • June 2025: The second unit failed. The device indicated a 100% charge but would only run for about a minute in the water before shutting off. Customer support sent a second replacement.
  • July 2026: The third unit failed. It displayed full battery lights when plugged in, but immediately died and refused to power on when unplugged. Customer support has honored the original 2-year warranty and is sending a third brand-new replacement rather than attempting a repair.

My Wybot C1 died this summer. Went on Youtube and found all kinds of video's of people complaining theirs had died within 9 month (multiple different models). Felt slightly lucky mine at least lasted two seasons (approx 15 months actual usage).
It isn't that hard to take a part, but I couldn't find a replacement battery.
I will not buy another one.
