What about hair tangling all up in the rubber brush roller, wheels, axels, mop spinners. This is a major problem for households with long haired humans or pets
I suffer from long shedding hair on my butt crack(don't laugh it's not funny). This robot vacuum includes a detangler/cutter to get rid of the hair on the roller

I have an old bumper style vacuum..my house is small with many things in a way and some carpets. Does this vacuum work even in crammed places ? To use my vacuum, I have to lift up many random things off the floor to get a decent clean
You'll have to lift and move things for literally any robot vacuum. Some things they can go over like rugs and so on but if the rug lifts up on the sides it'll often suck up the rug and get stuck until you come pull the rug out. If there's a pillow or something it won't simply push it out of the way, it'll go around it. It needs enough room to move or turn around if it needs to(rotates in place) so if you have a very small dining table with a lot of chairs/legs then it likely won't be able to get under it to clean or if it does it'll get stuck there and confused going in circles.

For a tiny space with a lot of ground clutter I would just get a cordless vacuum. These are really great for open areas and getting under normal furniture without a bunch of small obstacles on the ground.

I have this model. Hair will get stuck in the roller. I have a dog that sheds. I have to detangle and remove hair weekly. The water tray requires regular cleaning as well. Otherwise the mops are spinning in filth. My unit had the Lidar scanner jam up after the warranty ended. I have to jump start it periodically by manually spinning it. I may have had a lemon but it's made me rethink whether I will switch to another brand for next time.

I've had a ton of roborock products and they work awesome. However this line absolutely refuses to connect to my wifi. Dedicated SSID, 2.4ghz, super simple pw, doesn't matter. I've tried using my phone as a hotspot, etc. Maybe it works with normal consumer grade gear, but unifi and the like seem completely incompatible
No issues on my TP link APs. I have a dedicated IOT 2.4ghz network and it works across both my APs.

Even though it's an older model this deal has a 2 year warranty, which is twice the length of new products.

I haven't used any of the models to compare but it's probably worth considering just for the warranty.
I've tried to use warranty for my 3 months old Roborock that I bought from Costco. I clearly proved that it was a battery issue (showed video of it working fine - washing/drying/emptying - in the dock and immediately dies after it comes out and about to start the vacuum motor). I only asked for the battery replacement. They wanted me to bubble wrap everything, including the huge dock and all the accessories and ship it to them within 10 days. If outside the 10 days, I would be charged a shipping fee. Sorry, but I'm not going to spend ~$30 on bubble wrap and sourcing a huge box to put these in, just hoping to get them to replace the tiny battery and return to me in one piece.
I gave up on the warranty and just returned it to Costco.

I started using AI a ton now. Try some good paid AI with super deep thinking mode on, and I bet it can get it working.

no heated washing cycle for mop pads. No thank you... for a few bucks more you can find one that has this feature.

I got 2 of the Qrevo MaxV's which have more advanced obstacle avoidance and I can confirm they're absolutely brain dead. They'll get hung up on everything so this line is definitely not for people with kids. I ended up getting the Dreame X50 which for $479 is light years better but my particular unit couldn't dock or find the dock. So here I am left with 1 MaxV for the upstairs still searching for an X50-ish vacuum for downstairs.

Yeah this is an awesome deal. These were on sale for about $340 a couple months ago and I jumped on it, which was already a pretty good deal. I've got this one and an original Qrevo and they've both been awesome. The waste water bin smells like death when you have to empty it, but that's just a dirty water bath issue, not a roborock design issue. As others have mentioned they work great and are extremely hands off.. they just work.
I just add a dash of white vinegar in the dirty tank before reinstalling. Almost completely neutralizes the smell

This has been my experience as well. In the end, I returned it to Costco (after 10 months) and the refund was hassle free. For warranty service, they could have simply requested a return of the battery for testing and replacement if validated. Why make a customer jump through hoops for something so simple unless the end game is to make the warranty so cumbersome that the end user just gives up. I've heard mixed results with the Allstate's warranty. Some folks have the time and patience, and are willing to jump through those sort of hoops, and more power to them. In the end, waiting for a Costco deal on a new unit seems like a better deal if peace of mind is important to you.

If I have tiles on the ground floor and then also a rug place in the middle of the living room, what will this do? Would it know to switch from wet to dry when getting on the rug?

bought a similar qrevo deal last year when it was posted on SD thru eBay store. I didn't open it for couple month due to home renovation, and when I did, on fist run I found out mopping doesn't work at all.

Allstate warranty denied me because it was defective upon arrival. Roborock support won't do anything because it was more than 30 days and just tell me go back to claim Allstate warranty again.

I would NOT recommend buying cert. refurbished units on their eBay store.

Easy to take apart and take hair out. Extra points for removing roller ends and just pulling the coil of hair off.

I've heard this company is a nightmare for warranty inquiry/repairs

Yes. It detects when there is a transition and lifts the mol heads to vacuum the carpet. Then lowers when it's back on tile/wood to start mopping again.
