For running, I didnt like the instability of the New Balance Super Comp Trainer V1's when I had them, and they were a bit big and clunky, but they were so squishy with a super airy upper, they were fantastic for walking or standing around particularly in warmer months. I liked them so much for walking, I bought a 2nd pair just for that purpose. Maybe I did it wrong, but I am glad I didnt listen to the people saying not to wear plated shoes for walking.

For those wondering, yeap, they are carbon plated shows, aimed for half and full marathoners. Most might say they are Nike's best marathon shoe behind the alphafly versions.
If you're in the market for an upcoming fall marathon shoe, these are a good option at that price.
And as other have mentioned, they are designed for intermediate/adv runners. Not that they can't be used by anyone, but the major benefits come for faster runners (lighter, higher cadence, mid foot strike, energy return...)
