Hmmm, this might prove useful as an extension adapter when I'm trying to join two hoses via the Gardena Quick Connects [gardena.com] I have.

There has been times I recall when I couldn't couple hoses as I didn't have the proper male/female Quick Connects and I'm hoping that this might increase the chances in the future when needed. Probably not though but at this price why not. I'm in for one; thanks OP.

My front spigot is behind my front hedge and next to the front stairs, that has a railing. So to access it, I have to reach over the 2 1/2 ft iron railing railing each time or go through the little hedge gap there.
Or I have this shorter hose attached instead, and it comes out to the bottom of my stairs, where I then have a multiple hose extender on the end there that has the on off turn valve. I can leave it on all summer long and have full control over the watering system without having to jump over the hedges constantly 😉
