I like the idea of the built-in tea infuser, but I mostly make pour-over coffee. Does anyone use this primarily as a regular kettle, or is it really geared more toward tea?

its nice if you like drink tea for whole family. otherwise its will draw electric all the time...

I have this. The infuser is removable, and I never use it inside the kettle. I put the infuser in a teapot.

These don't work that way. Even if it is set to warm, it will automatically shut-off if left unattended.

It's useful for boiling water faster then pouring in a pot for pasta.

The lid is still made of plastic. It only has a steel rim. But atleast, it's glass everywhere else.
