$20 cheaper than the other 2 guitars a few days ago, but different setups. I'm not a guitar person so not really sure which is "better" but out of the 3 I prefer the shape of this one so I'll give it a try. Wanted something cheap to try out the Rocksmith game on PC.

Monoprice makes good guitars. The best guitar is the one you'll pickup most. So, it's good that you like the look of a tele.

If they had a deal on a Les Paul style, that would've been my first choice. I have always loved the look of those.

I ended up using the body as a template and switched the PUPs to soapbox sized HBs since the PUPs on it were really really bad. Still don't like the way it sounds or plays so it's been sitting in a case for a while now.

This Retro DLX Plus is also really heavy.
