People mentioned how to power it. You can get a small LiFePO4 battery, put that in a small toolbox or fire protection bag, then run a cigarette port on a fuse (I'd recommend a small fuse), and that would work. You can also get a small solar power station, but you're probably looking at $50+ for something with a 12V outlet, but that would have everything for charging, too.

If you go the battery route, you can use a small DC to DC converter or a lithium technology trickle charger.

AI says Unfortunately, the EUHOMY 19QT portable fridge (22.48"L × 12.68"W × 11.48"H) is too large to fit in the Tesla Model 3's sub-trunk.

Is that right?

This vid seems to show the same fridge in a Model 3 sub trunk.

The rack looks great too

Great will try it out. Other bad thing is no rear power outlet like Y so I'll have to run the cable thru to the front. Unless there are accessories that add rear power somehow in trunk?

How good is the insulation? Thinking that if I want to run this off a portable battery for camping, the insulation matters a lot for how often the motor has to run to keep things cool.
Unfortunately the majority of these relatively cheap portable fridges were designed with cost and weight as a higher priority than having good insulation. In other words the insulation on these is pretty bad. Have to run it constantly to maintain 32F when it's 90F+ outside.

Several reviews mention that once it gets to temp, it rarely kicks on the compressor. Do you have experience with this product?
