I've got the insulated (red/yellow) version of both these and the non-button (classic) style. I much prefer the button style, so much easier to use.

Good price, but I've bought them on eBay, at any time, for around this price ($20-25 sometimes) before.

I think the price has gone up a little -- looking at sold ebay auctions for "knipex cobra waterpump pliers", except for some lucky sales over the past few months, I'm seeing the vast majority going for around $30 incl. shipping.

If you don't yet own a pair, these deserve a spot in any toolbox/tool bag. You'll be amazed how often you reach for these over other pliers.

I lived with the cheap pliers I bought in my 20s for way too long. At 50, I bought myself a nice set of Knipex.

I should have done it sooner. Not only would it have been cheaper, but for a homeowner these things will last forever.

Woot 1st timer. Have both cobra & pliers wrench in 180 thought were all I'd ever need but lately been needing the extra leverage. Especially for pipes and plumbing connectors.
