Also this fan the motor is 12v motor so allegedly they are more power efficient. (another reason I bought it)

You can look up all the benefits of a smart fan yourself but a few I like : fine adjusting tilt and sweep angles, turning on/off with voice commands, tying into temperature sensors for automation
