The Anker SOLIX S2000 is a lightweight 2,010Wh portable power station that stands out for efficient home backup and UPS style use. The low price, free shipping, and free account login requirement make the deal especially sharp, and the unit is praised for strong inverter efficiency, fast under 10 millisecond switchover, and long cell life. It can run essentials like a fridge, kettle, fans, and device charging, and the 400W solar input can help in the right setup. The main tradeoffs are limited solar charging, no 12V output, and a 1,500W inverter that is less flexible than some alternatives. A solid fit if your priority is compact backup over heavy camping use.
Common Questions (5)
It is better suited to home backup and UPS-style use than frequent camping because it has 400W max solar input, no 12V DC output, and weaker handles. It can still work for camping or short trips if your loads are modest, but outdoor-focused alternatives like the C2000 Gen 2 offer better handles, more solar charging, and 12V output.
It appears to be listed on Anker's site under "authorized online partners," though the listing is hidden behind that specific link. That matters because Anker warranty coverage may depend on buying from an authorized dealer.
It can act as a fast pass-through backup with under-10ms switchover, but it does not communicate with a computer to trigger shutdown. For a PC, a small UPS with comms can be used between the computer and the power station if clean shutdown support is important.
Yes. The $599.99 list price drops by an auto-applied $92.31 to $507.68 only when you're logged into a free Off Grid Plus+ account, and shipping is free.
With full sun on 400W of panels, runtime is estimated at about 5 hours of solar charging, though a typical day may not provide that much full sun. For actual use, it has powered devices and an electric kettle through a 3-day camping trip without solar or recharging.

Can go to Youtube, but everyone is pretty high on it. The weight for a 2kwh unit is basically unheard of, the longevity on the cells is supposed to be like 15 years to 80% instead of 5 years. The efficiency on the inverter is supposed to be extremely high allowing this to work well running like a fridge for 48+ hours cycling on and off. So not only is it 2kwh in a lightweight unit, it's more usable than other 2kwh units because of the efficiency on the inverter.
Main downside compared to say Ankers C2000 unit is this is only a 1500 watt inverter instead of 1800+.
"1V-28V⎓ 8.2A; 28V-60V⎓ 12.5A Max. (400W Max)"
That's not much for a 2000Wh unit. It doesn't have 12v DC output for camping fridge etc. It also doesn't have very good handles for moving around.
It's a great unit for home backup of a few essential items including a fridge for a relatively short period of time. It's not a great unit for camping, off-grid, or long term backup where you want to rely on daily solar recharge. It's a good value if it will handle what you need though

For a computer, you want something that can communicate with the computer and tell it to shut down before the battery runs out. This cannot do that.
All Anker power stations have pass-through. If there's a fan, it's for cooling during charging.
