I bet they are. At least Amazon doesn't outright lie about their capacity. Brands like this generally do. Not to mention, legit 2800mAh NiMH AAs are exceedingly rare.

the cheaper the better for me. family members that can't read the text on a battery, don't know what rechargables are, and throws them in the garbage when they can't figure out how to work the "clicker".
