This is a great deal. Best headphones made in my opinion. This looks like the first gen, but gen 2 is only marginally better.

I bought refurbished gen 1 and the issues with them were very annoying. I hated them. I sent them back and got the gen 2 QVC deal. Much better.

Hard disagree. These headphones are my least favorite of the many I have. They are extremely comfortable with great ANC, but the fidelity isn't in the same league as offerings from Sony or B&W and the build quality doesn't feel like a premium product.

Yikes, well I like them. ANC is unmatched except for gen 2, especially on planes. I got them refurb around Christmas and had no issues. Tried xm5 before this and they hurt the top of my head and made my ears really sweaty even with aftermarket "cooling" pads. If you can get gen 2 for this price go for it.

those were the V1 quietcomfort ultra and they were $199. Are these v1 or v2?

ANC isnt the only factor in deciding if headphones are good or the best. Sound quality is as well. These headphones fall short of their competition especially Sony XM6.
