It has an amazing panel, but LG loves to ruin it by putting an antireflective filter on it. Just makes the display look muted and washed out more than it should. Yes a glossy screen can reflect a lot of light, but it will look so much better and for this price, it looking better is what you want.

A warning on all LG based monitors/tvs, They have been installing Adware in the past few months on these by default, no opt in. You can disable it only after the fact, or disable it in windows to get automatic updates from devices.

Dell just released the AW3926QW, it's also $2k not on sale and its a 39 inch vs a 45 inch. But tbh I think a 45 inch ultra wide is a bit too big, a 39 inch should be more comfortable to use as a monitor. At least for me
