The sauce may be less spicy but is constant throughout and doesn't give you breaks, or, should I say, literal breathing room. Also, I have yet to find a hot sauce or a hot pepper pack that I like.
Parting thoughts: keep a jug of liquid water-soluble fat (milk, heavy cream, buttermilk or even warm butter at hand for emergencies. Don't attempt douse the pepper heat with water, soft drinks or beer (maybe Everclear would help in this regard, but it creates other issues), it will become worse.
But you are right in one more aspect you may not have intended: the Tabasco taste will hide the original fruity pepper flavor. Short of tasting thin strips of the actual pepper, chewed slowly toghether with food that contains at least some fat, there is practically no way to experience that.
There may be pepper flavors I don't like, regardless of heat. For me cayenne, while I don't hate it, is not a favorite. The irony is that the cayenne pepper plants are prolific and I have a lot of them. I should have enough time to dry or pickle some of them.
I like the smoky taste of habaneros, for example, but you need to build up to the heat level and take measures not to be overwhelmed. Even more so for scorpion, what I tasted is fruity, but it doesn't last much before the Scoville train comes out of the tunnel and you cannot get out of the tracks. I read the Carolina Reaper tastes like candy, almost like licorice, for a few seconds, then come several hours of literal pain. Not sure if it is worth it

But then, I may be biased. The real question is: "How many more gallons of pureed guavas and pineapple do I need to add this to in order to make a palatable salsa? 🤣
This sauce is the real deal. 🔥

As I said before, I don't do sauces. Tried them, never clicked with me. Guava and pineapple ? Pass. I prefer the fruity flavor of the hot peppers themselves. The added flavors in this sauce makes it out to be a hot pepper sauce for people who don't like hot peppers or never had the chance to try the real thing.

SCORPION SAUCE: This is our hottest sauce yet! Made with one of the world's most intense peppers -the Scorpion - This fiery sauce packs a potent punch and features a mix of blazing-hot scorpion peppers, guava, and pineapple blended with a splash of TABASCO Original Red sauce.
FIERY & INTENSE: TABASCO Brand Scorpion Sauce is culled from the flames of flavor. While typical red peppers used to make Original Red sauce fall between 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville Units, one scorpion pepper can pack a potent punch of roughly 2 million. Nearly 20 times hotter than our Original Red.
LIGHT THINGS UP: With 9 flavor varieties, our sauces can help elevate the flavor of just about any meal. Our scorpion sauce has an untamed heat that's not for the faint of heart. Flavor responsibly.
Flavor is hot with a Scoville rating of 23000-33000 SHU
Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten free, Kosher, Halal, preservative free, Vegan and allergen free
