This Lenovo Duet Chromebook stands out as a compact laptop lite for travel, basic web use, office work, streaming, and remote access. The keyboard and kickstand case get strong praise, and the 11 inch touchscreen, USB C charging, and premium feel make it easy to carry and use. Battery life and general speed are described as fine for light tasks, with Linux app support adding flexibility. The main drawback is the 4 gigabytes of RAM, which can feel sluggish with heavier multitasking and makes it a poor fit for demanding apps or gaming.
Travelers wanting a compact laptop-lite device, because it is smaller and lighter than a full laptop while still handling typing, web browsing, and office work.
It can feel sluggish under normal to moderate workloads, and 4GB RAM means you need to keep tabs and apps under control. It is fine for lighter use, but it is not a good choice if you want heavy multitasking or serious computing.
Open-box units vary a lot: some arrived with the original box and a Lenovo 30W charger, while others came with no box, no charger, and missing accessories. A pen is not reliably included, and several buyers specifically reported receiving no pen.
Yes. It is compact, lightweight, and works well for travel-focused "laptop-lite" use such as web browsing, Google Docs, PDFs, work portals, and light office tasks. The keyboard/case combo is also praised for being ready instantly and easier to carry than a full laptop or tablet-plus-folio setup.
It can run productivity apps like Word, Excel, and Adobe-style apps, and some Play Store games install successfully. It is still a low-power Chromebook, so heavier gaming and demanding apps are limited.
Yes. The keyboard is repeatedly described as very good or top-notch, and the included kickstand case works well. The keyboard is also always ready to use and does not need charging, which makes it feel more laptop-like.
Thats a stupid price, buy now, think later. I recently purchased a Samsung A11+ and a folio keyboard case. Wonder which one I'll end up keeping. The Samsung is more powerful, but it is amazing the number of apps I can't get installed with it (even trying to side load legit copies) since it is running Samsung's version of Android. Even Amazon shopping.
FWIW, BB is currently letting you ship to home. Local stock shows near me as well (central NC) but that always seems to be a crap shoot.

Someone help me understand why this 11 inch open-box Chromebook is a good deal.
I own this and paid about this much. Battery life is long, and for word processing tasks like Google Docs, reading pdfs and work portals it's fine. I feel the speed is fine. Is it as fast as my gaming laptop with 16 cores and nvme? No. Will it beat an iPad Pro M5? No. But it's 120. I use it for work strictly.
I really like chome books and I like tablet chrome books even more but really, it needs 8GB of RAM to function properly. With 4GB of RAM you need to monitor your open apps and opened tabs. My HP 11" Chromebook Tablet came with 8GB of RAM 5 years ago.

The A11+ is much faster. This is e-waste
Not really worried about "faster" but ease of use, especially for pseudo laptop tasks without dragging my laptop along (especially when traveling).
FWIW, just because you don't have a use case for something, doesn't mean it is "ewaste." This Chromebook is plenty capable for media and office, internet, light apps, netbook type stuff, etc. Much of it arguably better than a tablet since you can also run native Linux apps off it. I will say the A11+ does a pretty decent job too in DeX mode however it, the keyboard, and folio are darn near the same size and weight as my laptop.
Only available in fair condition. Around me looks like the store display sold. One available only. I'm no wanting an abused on for a very long number of hours store display. Some people get lucky on open box returns only run for a few hours.

I bought it in fair condition for in-store pickup ($103.99). Battery cycle count 2 (so not a display model). It came in the original box with a Lenovo 30W charger wrapped in plastic.
Does it come with stylus? I think NO but checking.

Ok you guys talked me into it. I'm mixed. I could only get fair condition. I found out can't check ssd cycles time on because it's emmc. I could only check battery cycles it said 5 BUT If I'm not wrong Best Buy doesn't turn off their display models. It doesn't look scratched and abused but the back cover stand thing looks to have a little use. It had ZERO except outside box. Not a single piece of paper plastic or cables or charger. The good thing I need none of that and finally THANKS they went to a USB C charge. I just had to ebay a samsung charger darn proprietary chargers that get lost. It does look rather unused and like it's construction and touchscreen. It's a big step up from my SD habbits buying the dirt cheap sale models. It is a tiny screen though, 11" diagonal? Touch screen helps to mangnify and I adjusted text up and can use a monitor if I intend. A lightweight thin portable chromebook. btw I found somewhere it said 400nits and x1200 which are better than the lowend models. Same for cpu it's good. Yep ram is small but normal for 2026. There is a magnetic back stand cover thing IDK if I'd leave the store with one that was missing.
So I thought I'd drive an hour to other city to get this same deal. Yep my luck it was in a non original box but all dirty and sticker (security lock?) on the back. I did a return. big yymv

I've collected a number of these types of devices over the years and this one actually is notable for having a very good keyboard. My company uses the omnisa horizon vdi for remote access and this computer actually works really well for it. The included case with the kickstand works well. Overall my remote access experience on this is better than with something like a Samsung Galaxy 8 plus 12.4 Android tablet with the Samsung keyboard which I also have. And of course this thing is fine for basic web browsing etc as well. I would say it's definitely worth this price. keep in mind there's an 8gb ram version out there you may want to look on eBay for that instead

P.S. Thanks OP for posting!
Edit: WTH is with all the downvotes?!? What did I say to offend the masses?!? LOL....whatever
Update, got the Chromebook, arrived like new, so far so good. Feels pretty comparable to my A11+ for general use. Much more compacts vs the A11+ with keyboard folio added so is much more compact for travel (my use case) I'm sure plenty weaker for gaming, apps, etc but for me that doesn't matter.
How is it using a Chromebook? Is it restrictive in functionality compared to a Windows PC, is web browsing similar to a Windows laptop/desktop?
