These workbenches aren't 24" deep, they're 22" deep. I ordered 2 of them for $64 a piece on a previous deal posted here back in March. This is a great price, in fact I just ordered two more. There isn't anything particularly special about the quality or construction of these workbenches except for the price. It would probably cost you almost as much to fab and build a bench like this out of pine 2x4's. I was happy with my previous $64 purchase, I'm even happier ordering more at $56. I'm sure you could, but I personally wouldn't do it unless you also installed some type of horizontal cross brace to tie both sets of legs together. You'll see a lower horizontal brace on some of the heavier duty Work benches. The fact that this one doesn't have a cross brace is fine for being a lighter duty static table. But once you start rolling it around a shop without a horizontal leg brace you'll be putting a ton of stress on the mounting screws and flange that attach the legs to the wood surface. The addition of a single cross beam (2x4, unistrut, aluminum square tubing, black pipe with the ends crimped down flat) would strengthen and stiffen the table up tremendously.

On second thought after looking at how many screw attachment points there are, and how robust the mounting flanges are on these tables I think you would be fine without a brace as long as you're only moving it around on smooth surfaces.

I bought four on a previous deal. At this price im in for four more. Great little work benches. Ive notched some 2x8's to make a shelf under a few of them to add more storage.
