Oh, and if you're interested in becoming a member, the better deal is to go into a store and buy 2 years for $45 instead of 1 year for $30. My membership has easily paid for itself (or cost me way more, haha!)

Harbor Freight's 30 percent coupon is strongest for cheap consumables and small tools, especially when it stacks with Instant Savings. Examples include PB Blaster, cleaning and detailing supplies, a magnetic tool mat for about $14, hardy gloves, and a 6 inch C clamp at $6.99. The deal also works on phone checkout and multiple quantities of the same item can count as one toward the limit in some cases. The main catches are a strict five item cap, some checkout confusion on whether ITC pricing or Instant Savings wins, and reports that prices on many under $20 items have crept up.
The deal can stack with Instant Savings on eligible items, which can lower your out-the-door price further.
The magnetic tool mat example shows the 30% coupon can bring a $19.99 item down to about $14 after discounts.
The coupon can extend to items priced up to $20 for ITC members, which increases the range of discounted products.
The coupon can be used for practical small purchases like trim removal tools and a measuring tape under $10.
The 5-item limit can be enforced at checkout in a way that counts each unit separately, so buying six items may result in only five discounted.
Some in-store experiences show the 30% coupon not applying to Instant Savings items as expected, including cases where the clerk says the lower price wins.
Coupon access can be unreliable, including reports of expired coupons that fail at checkout and privacy-related issues after contacting the company.
Harbor Freight has raised prices on many under-$20 items while the 30% coupon amount stays the same, which can reduce the apparent savings.

I went two or three times to the store to use them, and the transaction was unsuccessful ad they were not valid. I contacted the company, and without asking them, they unsubscribed my email address from their email distribution list, so I don't receive any emails or text messages anymore. I asked them how to delete and remove all my personal information, account and phone number from Harbor Freight website/company/etc., hoping that it will reset it and I can create it again, and here is the answer:
"To request that we delete your personal information, fill out the Privacy Rights Request Intake Form. You can access this form by clicking "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" at the bottom of any page on harborfreight.com.
We're currently only accepting requests from residents of certain states, which you'll see listed on the form. For more information about our privacy practices, you can review the Privacy Policy on our website."
It looks like this Harbor Freight's coupons are actually for us to give them access to our information for free, and now it belongs to them.
The last email I sent to Harbor Freight, dated 7/19/2026, never receive an answer. I will probably will use the coupon. Or not. I don't know. But I am starting to feel a bit of stress regarding this matter. It's kind of troublesome that I gave them all my data, and they made me pay for it.
There are more companies out there that kindly request from us to "join" what they call "mailing list", or create an "account", while in reality they are adding us to their source of income, like Ollie's Bargain Outlet. Hope this helps someone.
BTW, as I am writing this and without me doing anything, I received this exact same promotion by email. Not sure what triggered it, but it's what it is! Very confused now! π«€ππ΅ π«

I now try to purchase the same items and they are astronomically high. Spray paint I bought 19 months ago under $10 now cost me close to $20 and the cans are 2 Oz less.
12oz cans of beers are disappearing and the prices are way up.
Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank
On the receipt it lists ITEM, then Quantity separately.
Years ago I got a bunch of clamps with 2 or 4 of each size.
I usually only need one or two items these days, but might stock up on painting supplies this round.
