250 for that is not amazing. 46 inch with wood top (if you like) is about the same price at HF during numerous sales.

Cheapest 46 and 36 I see from Kobalt is $400. This is a 42 for $250. I don't see any 42's bottoms from Kobalt. And this is a tool box, not a cordless power tool ecosystem. I just retrofitted some Amazon slides on my Husky toolbox because Husky wanted too much for replacements anyway.

TTI is the parent company for several company's.
Milwaukee, hart, ryobi, home lite, aeg, empire, stiletto. And several other tool brands and household brands(Hoover, dirt devil, oreck)

I don't know about TTI making their own boxes, but it is certainly possible for a company their size. Maybe not though, they don't manufacture the Milwaukee Packout cases, for example.

Actually it does complete. It's made by TTI who makes most other box store brands and Milwaukee. It is probably equivalent to Husky standard duty. Not the HD though. But I would recommend the 36 on sale for $182 personally unless you need the space.

Unless if you specifically need the 42" wide drawers, wouldn't it make more sense to buy 2 of the 27" boxes? Same depth?

I agree with the others. The $50 shipping kills it for me. I periodically see the wood topped versions for 300 that are made of better materials. TTI is a solid company, but the HART name is soon to be no more.

Shipping kills the deal. 25% of the purchase price in shipping cost? No thanks. Shipping should be free for Walmart+ customers, or at least offer free ship to store like the other big box stores usually offer.
