$2500 out the door in CA.

Even if you just want to harvest the GPU and RAM, you can recover about $700 for the rest.

That's the crappy market we're in.

Pretty good price considering it 's 64GB and 2TB.

$900 video card (using the best price in the past week)
$700 64GB $700 (slick deal in the past month)
$300 2TB $300 (just guessing, not that super expensive always now anyway and it's Gen4, not Gen5)
$200 9700X I sold one for $200 retail $270

$2100 before PSU Case OS which is maybe $150 total max to $2250 DIY build.

How did you get to that math? (Edit: oh wait I misunderstood what you meant... I think I did the reverse below)

If you just sell GPU and RAM and be left with $700 for the remaining, I guess GPU+RAM sell value you have is is $2340 - $700 = $1640.

I assumed it was higher since I valued then at $1175+$700 for 5080 and 64GB of RAM.

This is a decent deal though, I came up to $2800 if I DIY the purposes.

$1175 5080 - I'm buying one on the MicroCenter sale today so it's def the price level we can reach https://slickdeals.net/f/19777818-gigabyte-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5080-windforce-sff-overclocked-triple-fan-16gb-gddr7-pcie-5-0-graphics-card-1179-99?v=1&src=SiteSearch. I buy them used for $1000 cash. ($1175 plus tax is $1250).

$700 64GB - Bestbuy may still have this. I bought just over a month ago

$300 2TB. - seen this range lately

$400 285K CPU? - I think it's $500 retail for 285K but I see used market lower and seems to stay up for a while. No one seems to love this thing either.

$175 PSU / Case = $75 + $100 (Lian Li V100 for price level, and 1000w I see on SD last week or so)

$150 Mobo is crazy expensive for intel and this.

I'm at $2,800 and $400+ more expensive than this deal.

Bro, you're on too many of these threads.

I'm saying if you keep the GPU and RAM, you can probably get $700 for the rest without any friction.

Cuz I am always looking for a deal and trying to see where the price is going. and hearing other people's estimates is very helpful to recalibrate my numbers woot

Roger on the $700, I think you are right.

You seem to be reinvesting most of it in cocaine. Slow down a bit.

Try focusing on securing the Intel ARC GPUs that are about to be offloaded onto the secondhand market.

Save these for people who finally want to play post-pandemic games.

I bought the 9900x variant last December, and it's been fine. Nice to see it back close to what I paid then.

I believe these desktops are shipped and refurbished by MSI directly. I remember purchasing a laptop from a sale like this it came from their California warehouse.

There's a large warehouse in Ontario, CA that is a black hole for tech.

It should be nuked from orbit due to massive fraud export back to China.

If you ever see a shipping estimate pass though Ontario, CA and a day gets added to your FedEx tracking, start filing a complaint.

Didn't a 29 year old guy named Chamel Abdulkarim light one of those monster warehouses in Ontario, CA on fire a month or so ago?

Why are those ARC cards going to be offloaded? Why would we want to buy them?
