I have about a dozen of these throughout my house. Incredible versatility. My favorite use case for this is as a garage outlet for my tools and batteries. I have a workshop light attached to one of the outlets with a switch, which is perfect, since I would otherwise have to unplug the light without the switch.

What is the brand and model of the switch you use to trigger the individual smart plug (1 or more of 9) on and off? Been looking for something like that.

Idk why, but I thought it was an outlet AND wifi extender. Figured it wasn't rhe craziest idea. Now I'm disappointed that it's not.

This would be more useful with energy monitoring for the individual outlets.

Says it has surge protection, but it's only rated for 900 joules, so don't keep anything important plugged in for an extended period of time.
