I am not an Apple person but I must admit Magsafe is such an underrated game changer. It allows for a plethora of accessories that use to be "glued" on or clamped on. I am shocked Samsung hasn't followed suit yet.

This MagSafe phone holder is mainly appealing as a simple magnetic grip and mount for phones that already use MagSafe style accessories. The magnetic ecosystem gets praise for making add ons easy to swap, and Pixel phones now have a compatible Pixelsnap option that works with the same accessories. The silicone strap is elastic, but the holder can add noticeable bulk and comfort is only average. Durability is the main concern, with reports of loose screws and stands that become wobbly after a few months, so it suits light use better than daily abuse.

  • People who want a simple MagSafe accessory hub, because it opens up snap-on add-ons that would otherwise need glue or clamps.

    superslickz

  • Pixel phone owners using compatible magnetic accessories, because the same add-ons work with Pixelsnap.

    Ravislick

  • Hammock campers mounting a phone on a ridgeline, because the ring can serve as a secure hanging point instead of a daily carry accessory.

    4SKZ8

  • People who want a holder that stays tight over time, because the bottom screw can loosen quickly and the stand can become useless after a few months.

    chrismcd1PurpleMaple

  • People who need a magnetic grip that stays aligned with square accessories, because case-based ring placement can sit too high and make wallets or batteries fit poorly.

    superslickz

  • People who want a comfortable everyday finger strap, because the grip is only just okay and feels less comfortable than expected.

P6RF2L35 still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

I removed an item I had in my cart and it worked. For whatever reason having it in my cart by itself worked then readded items afterwards and promo applied at checkout.

Like yourself, I'm not an apple person, but they do have some cool tech. Nice thing is Pixel phones now have a compatible tech called Pixelsnap. Works with the same exact accessories too.

Yes I know, I am really surprised Samsung refuse to jump on board.

Cases exist so i don't see a reason to actually add magsafe to the phone itself. Unless majority of userbase never uses a case.

Yes, that has been the workaround, but it is far from ideal. Because, there is not an official support for magnetic devices, case makers don't have an official place to put the magnetic ring. Most of it ends up being placed where the ideal wireless charging is which is too high up because magnetic chargers are round. Thus, it works for a round magnetic charger but for any square magsafe accessories, the circle is too high, higher than where the camera lens is at. Thus items like magsafe batteries and wallets don't fit perfectly, which means they don't stay on as well.

Bought one about 2 months ago. The bottom screw that keeps it flush against the back gets loose pretty quick. Not worth buying.

It seems to be a common problem with these type of stands. I haven't found one that lasts more than a few months. They all get very loose and become useless overtime.
