The Galaxy S25 Edge is a thin, light Samsung flagship that stands out for its large 6.7 inch screen, strong Snapdragon performance, and comfortable in hand feel. The main camera, dual speakers, and fast charging get praise, and battery life is described as better than expected for the size, though still tied to the thin design. The tradeoffs are the smaller battery, no telephoto lens, heavy Samsung bloatware, and only 256GB with no microSD slot. It feels like a premium pick for people who want a big screen without the bulk.

  • The S25 Edge offers a thinner, lighter form factor while still delivering a larger 6.7-inch Samsung display.

  • The S25 Edge can provide longer battery life under a 95% battery limit setting compared with an iPhone Air.

  • The S25 Edge can feel unusually light for its large screen, which can make movie watching more enjoyable.

  • The S25 Edge can include dual speakers and stereo recording for better video capture and playback versus an iPhone Air.

  • The deal can involve practical friction with cashback or offer tracking, since some offers may not apply and cashback can be hit-or-miss.

  • The S25 Edge deal can be less compelling if trade-in incentives are important because Woot does not take trade-ins.

  • The unlocked value can be undermined by carrier-plan timing, since switching carriers may cost more long-term due to grandfathered plans.

  • The phone can arrive with a 0% battery and missing accessories like the case or screen protector until later delivery.

I ordered one as I had cb offer from C1 for woot that will make final price under 500 including taxes. Pretty good for a new S25 edge, I think.

Too much preloaded bloatware like Facebook. Tons of non-removable junk. Pixel is the only Android phone worth buying for a pure Android experience.

Currently have a Pixel 7 w/128 GB, running up against storage issues. Other than doubling storage, would this be an upgrade or just sideways? I've read a fair number of reviews, seems like the camera and battery might be a downgrade...

6 months ago, this would have been a decent deal. Woot doesn't take trade ins. Now you're better off taking your $570 parlaying your current device and getting something newer. If you have no trade in though, are on a prepaid where you don't get any decent incentives, you can do worse than this...

10 years ago I'd jump on it, but now most ogle the Flips and Folds...

Watch out for Capital One. They've tried to screw me over on my last two major purchases. They dangle those big cash back deals even if you've used an email, web or Frontpage bonus before. They still let you think you can double dip.

Can anyone who has switched from iOS comment on whether this is a much better phone than my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I've been with iOS forever but looking to try out Android again. I had Android years and years ago so a lot has changed.

I do not know why people are downvoting it even though it is the correct answer. It makes me not want to comment or answer any more questions. Slickdeals feels like a waste of time.
Correct. The hardware may have some compromise but that is primarily due to the form factor. You are paying the premium for the form factor within the flagship league. The above person must be used to comparing a desktop PC with a premium laptop and ranting on laptops.

Hi there, Appreciate your heads up but I received a confirmation email yesterday from C1 for $133 amount and also showing up as pending shopping rewards, so it looks like I'm good in this instance!
