An old phone will need a battery and probably won't have 5.3 Bluetooth and won't be as compact and an fm tuner and a headphone jack. Definitely won't have expandable memory oh and my car stereo doesn't read apple products and when i snowboard this is better.

Thanks, OP! Got the 64gb for $19.99. I like to use my bluetooth speakers around house, but hate having a phone call suddenly come blasting through when connected to it so this should work out great.

I'm surprised your clip zip headphone jack still works. mine died. I still have a few sansas lying around, clip plus, zip, fuze+
