I hate when people spread misinformation on here. Since July 1 it's a whole year of service to get the phone unlocked, and they don't allow you to downgrade the service on phone deals.

Don't get this phone. I have it and it's probably the worst iPhone I've ever had the unfortunate experience to use. I usually use a phone for at least a year before changing but I barely lasted 3 months with this phone.

The camera sucks, it lacks MagSafe and Bluetooth is the worst. I use Apple CarPlay in my car and if I get a phone call while listening to music, after the call hangs up the music skips like crazy. The only way to get rid of that effect was to disconnect BT and reconnect. If I happen to drive near a police radio, the music cuts out completely. This has never happened on any phones but this one. There are plenty of examples that other people with the same phone have similar issues to mine. Honestly, if it wasn't because of the battery being worse I'd rather use a 2022 iPhone SE than this 16e.

$530+ (after taxes) is still WAY too steep a price for this. It's a gimped version of the already now 2-year-old iPhone 16, and should be absolutely nowhere near this price, especially at this base 128 GB storage as even more of a slap in the face.
Skip this "deal".

Not sure why nobody is mentioning these are FLEX LOCKED. They will LOCK to the first USA carrier you connect it to. It will refuse to activate on any international carrier

All you have to do is get a case with a magsafe ring and it's back, so not really an issue.

This phone is fine, I have been using it as a secondary phone. I think of it as the Next Generation iPhone 13 since it shares the same body and screen minus one cam but upgraded internals. For me as a secondary It just works and has great battery life, runs all apps, and signal is fine.

AT&T has a prepaid version for only $299 and works on all AT&T MVNO's. Though I would pay the extra $100 from the best buy deal and get the 17e since it has the latest A19 and is what I consider the next gen iPhone 14 minus one cam and upgraded internals.

I currently using this phone for the past 1 year, from spectrum mobile to Tello, now Xfinity, the phone is fantastic for getting stuffs done.

Went to Apple Store at mall of ga to try to trade in for iphone air, play with air for about 15 minutes, and the only thing I really like about the air is bigger screen and lighter, but the air got hot after intense 15 minutes of usage so I decided to keep the 16e.

overall this is 300 dollars max phone I will pay not $500+ and the air not worth $700 dollars after traded this 16e in, value for the money

Just Get it for 99.99 at Metro PCs for around 200 Including 2-3 Months of Unlimited Service YMMV & then it is Unlocked & Free to use 👍 wherever.
