400 nit display. And considering the cost of ram these days. I'd say this is a good deal. I run a desktop with 8 gb ram with a really good processor. Works perfectly fine.

I don't play video games or do video editing but still a solid deal I think

LPDDR5, so no upgrading the RAM on this.

$515+tax is too much for an 8GB laptop. Pass on it, because stock Windows 11 struggles with 8GB of RAM if you do anything more than incredibly basic tasks. There are plenty of active deals for 16GB RAM laptops around this price.

8Gb with win is borderline. Can't run so many apps at the same time nor power hungry things. It's how it is in mid 2026 at this price point. I see BB has a snapdragon cpu similar for a hundred bucks more with 16gb and I'd say I agree I'd step up or go chromebook. That doesn't mean this is a bad idea for those on a tight budget and needing windows. It likely won't get better in 2026 until chinese ram starts ramping up.
Some people might use this only for internet and watching netflix and yoga videos on youtube. I can't argue at all against them buying this right?

Spending money on a laptop with 8gb RAM is definitely not good at this time, the minimum you need is 16gb RAM to last next few years.

Even my work dell laptop with 16gb ram is struggling ever since it upgraded to windows 11. After reboot, without opening any program the ram usage is at 80%

msconfig remove everything you dont need from startup also downgrade to windows 7/10. 11 is seriously worthless.

and have a backup of linux of your choice to make the system usable only reason to use windows is really for gaming/forced corporate software everything else not needed.
microsoft seriously destroying themselves and relying on tax payer subsidies and bailouts along with all the fang stonks of ai datacenters.

but really to price this at 500 dollars is insulting u cant even upgrade the ram now this is worth 100 bucks or less actually completely worthless system u maybe able to use it by uninstalling windows for linux.

worthless leeches seriously think we want their trash because ai datacenters inflated prices of computers a luxury good we dont need but want value of. when they offer no value there is no demand. i wonder if these epstein pedo elites and sympathizers will understand yet we dont want their ai datacenters and stalking spying scamming either we can actually tell.

deal websites where people actually look for real deals not fake ones are usually higher iq than the common population hopefully most of us see through the sham deals that these bots are pushing.
