Raul Julia, while an amazing actor, seemed like an odd choice for M. Bison, too, when I was a kid. Now that I'm old, I really appreciate his casting. Steals all the scenes he's in, but definitely didn't have the bulky physique for the character (that can be said of a lot of the characters in the film, though). He wanted to do this movie for his kids, and it ended up being his last one.
