I would stay away from this if your looking for reliability. I purchased one in the fall. It continued to turn off for no reason and or give an e15 code then turn off. They sent me a new one, which did the same thing

I bought it last time at similar amount. This thing is not consistent with AC . O connected it to Sump pump and other AC appliance it works but after some time gave error of AC voltage and switch off itself. So its not good if you plan to use it as UPS . Its not returnable not sure why as it consider hazardous item. Amazon customer service don't help and refuse to take return.

The ups works ok for me to switch to the battery power.
  1. What didn't work is that when the battery completely runs out, it turns off and even when your wall AC comes back, it doesn't turn itself on and didn't pass power through at all without manual intervention.
  2. It has really bad power draw when it's on and nothing is running. It just runs itself down in a few hours.

Wow, at this point I am happy I got the C2000 Gen 2. I can't imagine a newer 2000 series and they skipped the external port. Makes you wonder what these engineers were thinking !!
