bar oil commonly leaks from most chainsaws ive owned. I always keep some old magazines for it to sit on

When you get done cutting crack open the oil fill hole to release pressure built up or drain the oil out. Almost all chainsaws leak bar oil.

I was worried about this because...experience. I haven't had a leak with mine yet but it's less than half full when I stashed it. in a bag. atop cardboard. Smilie

I'm not going to use even my old iPad 2 for oil absorption. (a joke...I still get a magazine I think. Haven't checked the mail this month)
