It's for pouring only? I thought it can suck up the oil since it has a pump or something lol. I want to change my oil without have to jack up the car, crawl under there, unplug the oil drain plug, wait for it to be done drilling yadda yadda yadda.

Figure I just put this this in the engine bay and suck up all the engine oil from there instead.

Not even close, especially at this price. Even ones that are specially made for that (and much more expensive) are hit and miss for working consistently and lasting more than a few uses.

I have an engine positioned where there is no drain plug access. I have to drain oil by sucking out the dip stick. Use a vacuum pump. I guess could hook this up to tube reducers to work.

Who buys quart bottles to change their own oil...unless it is a lawn mower? That's hardly a slickdeal when even small cars need nearly (or over) 5 qt per oil change. Just buy the big jug to save time, shelf space, and $.

*That said, for the oil change use case, I don't think this product would be suitable.

Wow never knew it was so cheap to siphon gas from unsuspecting people's vehicles.
Time to get locks for your gas cap if you don't have a way to secure it!

i had the bright idea to do this with one of those lawnmowers that claimed to never need the oil changed (about 15 years ago, they didnt make them long)..
They must have made that metal out of cheese.. I could never get a good tap darn thing leaked until i threw it out on the street..still have a nice oil stain on the garage floor reminding me of my lack of tapping skills.
