Way too underpowered for anything more than a small tire. A pickup tire will cause it to overheat & fail.

Bought it and so far so good. 17 inch tires. But yeah it's slow and get hot. So turning it on and off helps. Either way, for what I need it, it's perfect

How slow is it? I wonder if it'd hold up to at least pumping 2-3psi into four 17 inch tires without overheating.

It's not super slow IMO. But if you stand there and watch it, it will feel slow. I would say after about 10 psi it gets hot. But after letting it cool for 1-2 minutes you can start again. Not bad for what I need it to put quick air in my tires. It works perfectly for my needs.

Thanks, seems convenient just for inflating balls, floaties, and other stuff without having to drag them out to the car or use a manual pump. As it's a handheld unit with a relatively short cord though, I'd imagine you would have to stand there and watch it when inflating car tires.

I have a different inflator of a similar size and it works pretty great for bicycle tires, balls and other smaller jobs. It never even occued to me to try and use it to inflate car tires. It doesn't seem like it could handle it.

I got this last week and it's great to put a few psi in car tires or you can throw it in your trunk for an emergency. I will take it with me on longer trips. Much more convenient than getting out my larger pump and having to plug it in and drag a cord around. Even better for bike tires and other small things.

I also got a quick connect chuck for it since this has the screw on type valve.
