Its a bit more complicated than that. Theres not all that many phones that support 45 watts, and even those that do dont charge at 45 watts the entire charge cycle. Full power is used on the lower end of the charge, and then it slows down at higher charges, so this might not be as slow as you think. Also, depending on your use case, not everyone cares. If you plan on using this at night, then being able to charge from 1% to 50% fasfer isnt really a benefit.

True, but this is used for a lot more things than just phones. For example I carry a few of these around and keep a few in my car to charge/power things such as my portable lights, flashlights, phone, mouse, keyboard, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, and security lights. Most of those things can't charge at a faster rate than this can supply so this is a great deal for all my use cases. Obviously you'd want a higher output charger if your device can charge at a faster rate and you want max charge speed, but this is a great deal for many other instances such as all the ones I use them for.

This Anker 25W USB C wall charger is a compact, travel friendly option for phones and accessories that top out at 25W or less. It works well for iPads, AirPods Max, headphones, keyboards, mice, flashlights, and other low power gear, and the included 5 foot cable adds convenience. The main limitation is that it only supports PD 5V and 9V, with no 12V, 15V, or 20V output, so higher wattage phones will charge more slowly. It is a practical small charger when speed is not the priority.

A lot of modern phones are 45W, so this is massively underpowered for high-end phones from the past few generations. Be sure you look up your phone's power needs before wasting money on this antique. Also, keep in mind your next phone will need more juice, and maybe you have friends and family that would be better served by higher output today. Yes, this will still charge high-power devices; it'll just take longer.

What seier said.

I still use this because my phone only charges at up to 25w but faster charging has been here for a few years now and many phones exceed 25W, including iPhones.

Though there is a case to be made for this for on the go; this is basically the smallest charger you can get with its specs so it's super portable.

this charger can only output PD 5v and 9v, but not 12v, 15v or 20v. so not really versatile. it can support pps 5-11v.

For Reference, my Pixel 9A is 25w max. So this would do in a pinch and for other devices that are not power monsters.

As with the last time this deal came up, if you still have the Paze offer, you can get the charger only for less from Newegg

You can buy a cable in a separate transaction and still pay less than this deal

And they generate less battery heat so the batteries last longer. Some people change phones each year so dont care

25 w or less chargers = why even bother making these dump them to 5 dollars or less they are all trash right now.after this 1 yr if it is anything below 60 w they are trash and worthless fyi. car chargers as well need to be at least 60+ watts so they can charge your laptops as well for 10-20 buckseasily achievablesince regular 65 w chargers can be had for 20 bucks every day of the week a deal is more like 10 bucks.these 25w and below are worth less than 5 bucks maybe 2-3 bucks.
Phone and battery longevity.

Fast charging = more battery wear.

25 watts is a good balance for speed and longevity.

This is an important detail often glossed over. Despite its wattage "rating" without the 12V support charging would be limited to either 5 or 9 Vdc

My buddy AI says to charge my iphone17 using 30 watts MAX, so battery does not overheat, thus increasing battery longevity.my buddy is super clever, ARE YOU?
Your buddy has rocks in his head. Devices only output their max wattage. You can use a 45W charger on a 25W device and it will output 25W
