A lot of modern phones are 45W, so this is massively underpowered for high-end phones from the past few generations. Be sure you look up your phone's power needs before wasting money on this antique. Also, keep in mind your next phone will need more juice, and maybe you have friends and family that would be better served by higher output today. Yes, this will still charge high-power devices; it'll just take longer.

I still use this because my phone only charges at up to 25w but faster charging has been here for a few years now and many phones exceed 25W, including iPhones.

Though there is a case to be made for this for on the go; this is basically the smallest charger you can get with its specs so it's super portable.

True, but this is used for a lot more things than just phones. For example I carry a few of these around and keep a few in my car to charge/power things such as my portable lights, flashlights, phone, mouse, keyboard, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, and security lights. Most of those things can't charge at a faster rate than this can supply so this is a great deal for all my use cases. Obviously you'd want a higher output charger if your device can charge at a faster rate and you want max charge speed, but this is a great deal for many other instances such as all the ones I use them for.

this charger can only output PD 5v and 9v, but not 12v, 15v or 20v. so not really versatile. it can support pps 5-11v.

For Reference, my Pixel 9A is 25w max. So this would do in a pinch and for other devices that are not power monsters.
