The Fold8 deal is strongest for buyers stacking trade in, education, PayPal100, and AMEX credits, with some checkout totals landing well under the sticker price. The wider Fold8 feels lighter and more pocket friendly than the Fold 6, and the 512GB upgrade is often framed as the smarter move for only $100 more. The main knocks are the missing telephoto lens, the lower camera spec versus the Ultra, and the narrow cover screen that some find awkward. A few also flag pricey storage jumps and accessory add ons, so the value depends heavily on which discounts actually apply.
The PayPal $100 coupon can work when payment is made through PayPal during checkout.
The deal can stack with AMEX offers and can post the $100 credit after Samsung charges via PayPal.
The trade-in plus accessory bundle can reduce the effective out-the-door cost for some buyers.
The Fold 8 Wide model can feel more pocket-friendly than the Ultra due to its lighter, thinner build.
The Fold 8 Wide's limited camera zoom can be a deal breaker for users who want more reach.
The PayPal $100 coupon may fail to apply when it cannot be redeemed for the current products in the cart.
The Papal discount is limited to the Vatican Samsung Experience Store, which restricts eligibility.
Samsung service and depot processes may deny warranty or insurance claims for Fold-related issues even within the 1-year manufacturer warranty.
