TracFone has the iPhone 12 64 GB for free when you purchase a 3 Mo $40 plan - which is actually $108 after multi-month discount. However, it seems any plan more expensive than that one works to get the iPhone for free. So I think most would opt for the 365 day plan that includes unlimited talk and text, and 12GB of data (For the YEAR, not every month!) For $144.

This deal is not for me, but I thought some might like it. I put some fake info in, and the taxes were about $17. The taxes will obviously vary by location.

Out of curiosity, does it automatically unlock after 365 days of paid service? If not, can you request the unlock from outside of the United States after the period is over?

TF is horrible. If you don't use the phone for some time (ie make calls, send texts, etc), sometimes they automatically deactivate dormant accounts.
