Past two metro deals I grabbed Razr and Moto G Stylus had 8GB of ram. This A37 has 6GB, there is also an option for a a17 or tcl which has 4GB.

Back when the unlock was 60days, i would always buy one of these as a spare phone, now that it's 365 days, its not worth it.

Okay, I figured out a way to do it on my active Metro account and get the $40 add a line for cheap, but maybe this is because I already had an extra google voice number from the past that expired over a year ago(email confirmation), but was somehow still active on my email and I just used a $2 free mint trial sim that I purchased from Target forever ago and got discounted but had never used. Then I just spent the $3 to unlock my old voice number(again, I guess it was never claimed and it was still letting me use it for calls and texts for some reason even though the number expired over a year ago and was not attached to any active line of cell service) and now I have a free phone on the way. This is just to have an extra phone around, so I will never pay for a plan on it other than the $40 I just spent for one month. The old phone I used to do this was my Motorola G7 Play from 2021. I may be an idiot and not understand any of what I just did, but maybe this info will be useful to someone. Still want to replace my daily phone which is a moto stylus, but I am on the $25 a month plan and I would rather wait until next year to get a new one since my current one has no issues.

The you just use the gmail voice number and create a pin and use the dummy zip code for it to port and get the phone for $40. And then you can just pop in your usual sim again and your phone goes back to normal. Seriously, if I am being dumb....everybody just say it. Because I feel dumb right now.

I only pay Metro for the first month of service. The phone will auto-unlock after a year, then I will use it as a travel phone. I do not use metro service when I travel I use an esim. Gigsky gives me 5gb every 15 days (data only) because I have the US Bank altitude connect card. I use Google voice to phone and text when abroad.
