He is factoring in the required first month plan payment. So compared to $40 for this phone its $165 . There is a separate thread
256gb is still twice the storage of 128gb
By biggest issue with either of these deals is the lock. The AT&T deal at Walmart has a trick to unlock it but I recall having a major headache last time I tried that.
It's tempting just because of the RAM and storage. 6GB seems very limiting.
