I got this last time it was posted and it's great. People were saying then that bosch was phasing out x-lock but I've had no problem getting new wheels from Amazon.

Same, and there are adapters for a post xlock world.

This...it's really about this increased cost and lack of cheap alternatives to x-lock vs standard. The issue is similar to Bosh's starlock system where the blades for their oscillating tool are many times more than standard blades. Adapters for these tools make them a great purchase though

I use with both, I have had no issues finding the Xlock variant as of yet. Use the adapter for the cheap sanding and material removal discs.
