It's worth doing some research on the other terms, but for regular people not doing online gaming or other high-performance needs and just want good speeds and connection this seems like a great deal. It might be a great deal for these people as well, but I'm not sure.

I got an Archer BE550 tri-band a few days ago on sale and put it in AP mode immediately, as intended. Planned to use it for 5ghz @ 80mhz and 6ghz @ 160mhz since I only have one wifi 7 device and I don't care if it has dial up speed since it's a work phone. This was to replace an aging centrally located AX86U that was giving me 950mbps up/down on 5ghz @ 80mhz anywhere in my house.
The archer does about half of that on 5ghz, turns out 4x4 antennas are still beneficial on 2x2 devices like my macs. So now it's in AP mode only serving 6ghz @ 160mhz and I put the asus back in to service today after a weekend in storage. 6ghz still sucks on the TP Link compared to my garbage $30 Arris W6U entirely behind my tv, cooking. 1700mbps up/down versus the Archer's 1100 with a ton of peaks and valleys.
TL;DR TP Link deco line is largely dook and TP Link as a whole is kinda dook. Omada bridge across my back yard is sick though.
