I joined Walmart+ last year for $58 a year using their AARP discount
When I attempted to cancel, it offered to drop it down to $49 as the slickdeals post indicated:

I accepted thinking, why not.
Not sure if its an error, but it ended up double dipping and adds the AARP discount on top of the $49 offer making it $29 for an entire year.
Copy and paste of the email I recieved after rejoining:
You're getting 50% off your next year of Walmart+
Hi ****,
Thanks for continuing your Walmart+ membership! Your plan will be 50% off for the next year.
Here's an overview for your records:
Current plan: Annual
Promotional amount: $29/next year + applicable taxes
Promotion starts: 08/03/26
By accepting this offer, you agree that after the first renewal, your plan will auto-renew at the regular rate of $98/year plus applicable taxes until you cancel. Visit your Account to cancel or manage your membership. See full terms.
Be sure to take advantage of all the Walmart+ benefits available to you as a member!
