Sure would make it easy to clean the ducts or pull the dryer out for service.

Edit: I did a test a couple times during installation, but I don't have a lot of room. Washer & Dryer are in the kitchen in a small area. When I was attempting to move it the vent attached to the Dryer fell off during removal which was annoying, but once its on its on and thats because of the heavy magnet its very bottom heavy. I should note I had to put some kind of 2x4 under the vent parts to support it.

I'd prefer something that I did not have to cut the existing 4" dryer pipe protruding down through the wall (which would be irreversible)
