This Wegear 4K USB webcam stands out for sharp video and a surprisingly strong microphone at a low price. The Sony sensor is credited with keeping faces bright in darker rooms, and the autofocus is being tested for longer lecture recording at six to eight feet. It is also being used with Google Meet and YouTube Live for multi hour sessions. The main caveat is that Teams caps video at 1080p, and the promo code took a couple tries for some orders before landing near $25 out the door.
Common Questions (3)
The promo code still works and can take a couple of tries to apply. A lesser-discount checkbox should be left unchecked because it cannot be combined, and the final price came out to about $25.00 plus change.
It can be used as a webcam with Google Meet and YouTube Live, and one buyer specifically planned to use it for 3+ hour daily recordings. Teams may cap output at 1080p, but the camera's sensor can still help keep faces brighter in darker conditions.
It is being tested specifically for 6-8 foot focus for lecture recording, so that distance is a practical use case for this webcam. The autofocus and 4K sensor are the relevant features for keeping a subject sharp at that range.

Also, the code worked for 2 cameras.
They have a checkbox for a lesser discount, don't use that one since can't be combined.
