Taco Bell's $1 Mexican Pizza and $1 drink promo is a cheap way to grab a quick pickup order, with the pizza and drink sometimes redeemable together and the drink reward offering more than just soda. The deal appears to work in store, online, and through the app, often as one per transaction rather than one per account, so multiple separate orders have been possible. The main catches are spotty app behavior, occasional store limits or sellouts, and long waits at busy locations. Food quality has also been inconsistent, with some pizzas coming out fine and others described as rancid, stale, or overfried.
Common Questions (5)
Some orders were reported with rancid or acrid shells, stale toppings, or a dirty-oil taste, while other pickups were described as fine. The item can vary by location, so quality may depend on the store.
It is limited to one per transaction/order, not one per account. Multiple separate orders can be placed across channels such as in-store, drive-thru, kiosk, online, or in the app.
Yes. The Mexican Pizza deal and the $1 drink reward can be redeemed together, and the drink reward can also be used for items like a Regular Freeze.
Yes. The promo is available in-store and online without a code, and it is not a limited drop-style offer. It still says while supplies last, so availability can end quickly.
Yes. The drink offer must be claimed in the Taco Bell app using the "get drink" button on the main intro page before checkout.

Next week they better offer a "normal" 2pm product.
Yes, every location networked for this deal to all collect "old stock" and then said: hey lets make this a $1 promo and hope no one notices.
Back here on Earth, you'll realize most of these fast food places and quality orders are VERY YMMV based on city and even stores within that city.
Sometimes they'll be decent (like the one I had) and sometimes they'll be bad....but there's no collective central TacoBell Skynet that oversee's and commands every place and order.

All of it was good, not worth the hassle to get more.
Thats original regular price at my local TB. I remember years ago, it started around $3-4, don't remember, anyone know the release date + price? The prices for this item + in general, entire menu keeps increasing, crazy how expensive they become.
