Ive bought 5 or so pairs of these over the years and i like them. The quality has always been good and i like the style. These are better quality than the $25 glasses you can pickup at walmart or Target.
I own several pairs of these Bircen sunglasses, and they are excellent. My only complaint is that the metal frames heat up when sitting in the summer sun inside a car. You need to cool the metal beforehand, or else you'll experience a slight burning feeling when wearing them.
I'm admittedly a little bit of a sunglasses 'snob'. I typically like the higher quality (more expensive) brands, mostly becuase the optical quality of the lenses is typically far superior to the cheaper brands. I bought two pairs of these just to use as 'around-the-house" sunglasses, so I don't have to run to my truck to get my sunglasses whenever I mow the lawn or whatever.
I'm quite surprised by the quality of these $11 sunglasses. The lenses, as expected, aren't as optically clear as any of my more expensive pairs, but realistically, the difference is so subtle as to be nearly irrelavent. It only if you're moving your head and specifically looking for 'ripples' in your vision that you might notice some aberration. The lenses are quite flat too, so I do get some reflection of light off the back side of the lense into my eyes, depending on the suns position and the orientation of my head at any given time, but it's not a show stopper.
The frames are really nice, are substantially lighter than I expected, and I love the spring loaded arms... something that none of my expensive sunglasses have, unfortunately.
After trying on my two pairs, my daughter wanted a pair, so I bought a third for her.
edit: The lenses are truly polarized and UV blocking. Tested with my 365nm UV flashlight
