Visible's annual plans stand out for unlimited talk, text, data, hotspot, and strong Verizon coverage, especially on the higher tiers. The mid and top plans can deliver much faster speeds than the base tier, and 5G UW phones see the biggest gains. Hotspot is a real perk, though the base plan can limit it to one connected device and the top tier is the only one with watch service. The main catch is promotional pricing that rises after 12 months, plus occasional activation and deprioritization headaches in congested areas.
Visible's mid-tier plan can deliver much higher speeds than the low tier during everyday use.
Visible's unlimited hotspot can be a practical benefit at the promo price point.
Upgrading to 5G UW-capable phones can improve both download speeds and hotspot performance.
Visible can work well for frequent travel across rural and metro areas when signal conditions are good.
Visible's low tier can be severely throttled, which can limit real-world throughput.
Visible's hotspot and data performance can suffer from deprioritization during Verizon congestion in dense or low-signal areas.
Visible promotional pricing can increase after the first year, which can erase the initial savings.
Visible activation can fail repeatedly, and delays can create extra costs when billing cycles shift.

Do you go back to standard pricing after 12 months? That's the biggest hassle of trying to save money. All these prepaid are promotional pricing only right?

5G has low-band (~100Mbps), mid-band (100~300Mbps), and high-band (≥300Mbps).
VZW, AT&T, and T-Mobile all have very similar coverage for low-band.
Mid-band coverage & speeds: T-Mobile > VZW >> AT&T.
High-band speeds: T-Mobile >> AT&T.
Admittedly, mid-to-high-band 5G is more than fast enough for anything most of us do on phones.
Best to do esim and be done with it. Waiting for a sim card asks for trouble.
