Anyone actually using this size for trolling? I did some Google AI calculating and it said my 55lb thrust trolling motor would max out at around 12 minutes. Given that's at full speed, but still seems pretty low capacity...

I was/am planning on waiting for at least 50ah, probably 100ah (come on SD, ask them for a code ...)

Yeah this is quote pointless for a trolling motor. 100ah is what Minn kota recommends for a 55lb thrust motor, could probably get by with 50ah, that's what I was planning on doing with a solar trickle charger to keep it continuously charging. I ended up getting a 280ah personally for my 45lb motor.

I can think of some neat little projects to use this for, or maybe as auxiliary power for a remote security camera that also had a solar panel hooked into the system, but for trolling motor?! No way... Also, half the price and then we are talking.

You are correct, this is absolutely way too small for a trolling motor. The BMS is can only provide 10A. Your motor will draw a lot more than that.

Besides that, It would r be a good deal til it hit like $30.

Keep an eye on eco-worthy though. You can regularly pick up their 100Ah battery (with a 100A BMS) that will work great for a trolling motor.
