Electric dusters can cause static and can ruin computers. Canned air compressors are safer.

I work in IT and have been using electric dusters for over probably 12 years. Haven't had an issue with static ruining parts. Just don't use it to spin fans and you should be good.

I can say the same but don't work in IT. I've used vacuum cleaners to clean the insides of PCs and never had a problem. Of course I'm wiser now and don't want to risk it.
