This a a great deal. I've had 3 lines with infimobile for the past 2 years. between the first week of june and the first week of july, I had to re-up all three of our lines, and since there were no active deals like this, I had to pay $93 all-in for the 5gb plan, $93 all-in for the 10gb plan, and $168 all-in for the 15gb plan on different dates so our plans wouldn't run out. I'd snatch up 20gb for this price in an instant.
Infimobile's 12 month unlimited plan stands out for cheap annual pricing and usable service on both T Mobile and Verizon, with 20GB monthly data that feels like strong value for the money. The plan can be added to an existing line and set to start when the current plan expires, and USB tethering still works without a custom APN. Caveats include deprioritized data in crowded places, occasional slow speeds, and a 500 MMS limit that may affect group texts and multimedia messages. After the first year, the plan renews at $31 per month.
Heavy text-and-photo texters who use internet messaging apps, because RCS and app-based messages can bypass the MMS cap.
A 500 MMS cap is listed, but MMS usage may not actually be tracked for everyone. Some users report sending well over 500 MMS for months, while others treat the limit as a real restriction on photos, videos, stickers, and group messages.
The service can be slow and is clearly deprioritized in crowded places, with mobile data becoming unusable at arena-type events. Outside those congestion spikes, users report it working fine on both T-Mobile and Verizon networks.
RCS can work on Infimobile, and some users report it working reliably across multiple devices. Others could not get it working, so it may depend on device or setup.
The checkout flow offers either "Upgrade Now," which replaces the current plan immediately, or "Upgrade Later," which starts the 20GB plan when the existing plan expires. Current customers have also been able to buy it and have it roll over at renewal.
USB tethering reportedly works, and one user did not need to add a custom APN for it. Hotspot is a separate paid feature, with a $5 monthly hotspot fee mentioned for this plan.
I had reasonable service with them for two years but they gave me free hotspot for beta testing new services and I am not coming back to a $5 a month hotspot fee. Not going to monitor my texts to make sure I'm under 500. They will continue to be à second or third option until changes are made.
How can you add this to an existing line? I another infimobile thread someone posted they added a discount plan to their line and it started after their existing annual plan ended.
mms is essentially any non "text only" message like videos pics gifs stickers right?
i had infimobile but kept dropping texts. i just wouldn't get some msgs. it's cheap but i expect it works reliably. no hotspot was a bigger limit than i expected too.

MMS is multimedia so it'd include photos/videos/gifs/stickers and group messages. The SMS/MMS standard is so old and antiquated. Use iMessage/WhatsApp/Signal/Telegram/RCS and they won't count towards SMS/MMS limits because they use the internet.
When checking my iPhone 13 IMEI # and zip code I got the following -
Your current device is compatible for service but does not qualify for preferred network pricing. You may continue service at the standard price of $ undefined, or switch to a compatible device to receive the preferred price of.$ undefined
It also said you may encounter MMS issues using this device on Verizon network, no issues on t-mobile.
Is this an iPhone issue?
What's the difference in network when you choose the unlimited plan and get the "premium" network instead of a choice between Verizon and t-mobile? And does either network on this plan get heavily deprioritized when you're in a congested area?

Heavy text-and-photo texters who use internet messaging apps, because RCS and app-based messages can bypass the MMS cap.
Drivers who need inexpensive backup data, because the plan has worked fine for years and still feels usable when mobile data is only occasional.
People who want a low-cost annual line with tethering, because USB tethering still works and the plan can be added to an existing account.
People who rely on multimedia texting, because MMS can be capped at 500 messages and group texts count toward that limit.
Commuters who need consistently fast mobile data, because the service can be slow and may become unusable in crowded venues.
People who depend on Verizon-network MMS, because MMS issues can appear on that network.
