Still doesn't make up for the $60 difference. I bought this vac couple months ago from HD without hacking for $49.99. 2 ah HP is silly. The tools that actually gain anything from HP batteries want to be using 4ah HP for the extra amperage. Just saying this isn't a good deal for this package.
Gotcha but can I buy it right now, all day long for $50? No.
A sale from 6+ months ago doesn't dictate the average street price.
Gas was $2/gal 6 months ago, so does that mean gas is worth $2/gal still?
The price to buy the vacuum today is $70, on sale from $90. It's *occasionally* goes on sale for $50, but it's not a regular sale that happens every other month.

The price today isn't a good sale, this is slick deals, not just buy the items today for whatever they cost. I gave the prices that would be a real Slick Deal

Hold on, you think paying $50 for an item worth $50 is a Slick Deal?
...or are you going to admit it's worth more than $50, and that's why buying it for $50 was a SlickDeal?

Yes, paying what something is actually worth can be a good deal. Paying $70 when it's worth $50 isn't. And in this bundle it's priced at $80ish. It's worth $50, they ask $70-80 350 days a year, so when they have a sale and ask $50 (what it's actually worth) it's a good buy.

Well, my time machine is down right now, so for me the vacuum is worth $70, since that's the current sale price.
I'd like to know where you're getting standalone batteries for $20. Or was that a one day sale 10 years ago?

So if they we're asking $200 you will think that are worth $200? Silly. Not stand alone batteries, but HD often has 3 bats sometimes varying AH, but for $10 per AH. That has always been the going rate for a decent deal on batteries. Currently you can get 4,4, 2 for $80

Ah so more mental gymnastics, gotcha.
Let's agree to disagree.

I did buy one open box for $50 and it's actually totally worth it. Love it for small, dry messes.
But overall? Not a SD for the package.
